WooCommerce

Install and configure the CJ Affiliate plugin directly from your WordPress admin. No file uploads or custom code are required. The plugin activates conversion tracking automatically once your CJ credentials are entered.

πŸ“‹Before You Implement
  • You will need your Action ID, Tag ID, and Enterprise ID before starting. These are provided by your CJ Client Integration Engineer and are also available under Account Settings β†’ Tracking Setup in your CJ account.
  • You must be logged into WordPress as an Administrator β€” the Editor and Shop Manager roles cannot install plugins.
  • Do not remove or modify any existing CJ tracking solution while integrating this plugin unless explicitly instructed by your CJ team.

Installation Steps

Step 1 β€” Access WordPress Admin

Open your web browser and navigate to your store's WordPress admin panel. You must be logged in as an Administrator to install plugins.

1
Open your browser and navigate to your WordPress admin panel at https://[yourstore.com]/wp-admin/.
2
Log in using your Administrator credentials.
🚧

Only the Administrator role can install and activate plugins. Editor and Shop Manager roles do not have this permission by default.

Step 2 β€” Navigate to Plugins

From the WordPress admin sidebar, open the plugin installation screen.

1
In the left sidebar, click Plugins.
2
Select Add New from the submenu.

Step 3 β€” Search & Install the Plugin

Use the WordPress plugin directory search bar to find the official CJ Affiliate plugin.

1
In the search bar, type CJ Affiliate.
2
Locate the plugin: CJ Affiliate Network Integration.
3
Click Install Now next to the correct plugin.
🚧

Confirm the plugin publisher is CJ Affiliate before installing. Several third-party plugins use similar names. The official plugin slug is cj-affiliate-network-integration.

Step 4 β€” Activate the Plugin

After installation completes, activate the plugin to enable it on your store.

1
Click the Activate button.
2
A CJ Affiliate menu item now appears in your WordPress admin sidebar.

Go to Plugins β†’ Installed Plugins and confirm the CJ Affiliate plugin status shows Active before proceeding to configuration.

Plugin Configuration

After activating the plugin, enter your CJ credentials in the plugin settings screen. All three values are required β€” conversion tracking will not function without them. If you do not know your Action ID, TagID, and Enterprise ID, please reach out to your CJ contact or submit a support ticket.
